So I have the inevitable chassis code from the hr springs. Going to adjust the height sensor asap...my main question is, the front bounces like a mofo. Is this normal or something I should look for to adjust???

Bouncing? My car on those springs occasionally hit the bump stops but it never undulated.

My experiences with H&R is.... I would never buy a set. One of my Cobalts came with them and it bounced around over every single little bump. Had a couple friends use them back in the day and same thing. They seem to lower the car to the point where its riding on the bump stops. Just my opinion though.

Which bumpstops did you use? Are you sure you aligned the springs properly on the top and bottom and they are seated correctly?

Well, based off some other research I believe the travel blocks are still in place. Going to double check this weekend. Otherwise reinstall the front set, or completely remove. It's unbearable, which I'm 99% sure those blocks are still in place

Took the blocks out and rides smooth as can be now! Absolutely love it. Now if I can just get the chassis code to stop coming on. Tried disconnecting battery etc

You have to trim the oem bump stops if revised once werent supplied via H&R.

Check that your level sensors were reinstalled properly. Search the forums and see how they should be installed. Another member had the same issue.

Also if you select Sport mode, that will stiffen up your dampening/rebound (less bouncy).

Incorrect, RS-R downs would be the mildest in my months of reading and keeping up.
They're basically the same, they just flip which end gets lowered more

H&R: 1" front, 0.75" rear
RS-R: 0.5" front, 1.1" rear

In either case, neither of them are anywhere near "riding on the bump stops", that's just a ridiculous statement.

Were those RS-R numbers the super downs because the regular downs numbers I got from Speed Industry are.

Front -15mm to -20mm (-0.6in to -0.8in)

Rear -15mm to -20mm (-0.6in to -0.8in)

I didn't realize they had two models, you're right then, the rear drop is the same as the H&R and the front drop is a quarter inch less.
