Hey guys!
I am an EU citizen raised and living in Canada, and I am planning in going back to Europe. However, I want to take my girl with me: a 2023 GR Supra 3.0 MT.
I am a little bit concerned on if it is possible to make her road legal there, since the EU Supras have some differences to their North American counterparts.
I am trying to figure out what will be the challenges. Does anyone know all the differences between both models that can impact registering her? AFAIK, the engine itself (NA B58B30O1 vs EU B58B30M1), headlights (the EU spec need to be glass and have a 7th ice cube light), tail lights (the EU requires amber turning signals and they must the separated from the brake lights) and exhaust system. Some people told me emissions won't be the biggest issue, but rather making the whole car itself compliant to regulations.
Does anyone know what kind of hassles, and, most important, *if* it is possible to have a North American Supra registered and fully road legal in the EU.
I am trying to get as much information as I can before making the decision to move. If anyone, especially if someone has experiences of importing and road-lgealizing cars in the EU, can chime in, I really appreciate!
