I tried doing this with 3m tape but it did not come off... how strong is that putty? Any other recommendations on what else I can use?

This took literally 2 minutes with clay bar, and 9$ from Amazon. Letters light up, looks GREAAAT!

Got mine off after leaving the loc tite putty on for a few minutes. Those that have the new button on does it click or push in like the factory one or is it just me that it doesn’t feel the same? It works but not clicky I guess
