That is a good point. I was just shocked that something could actually go through the aftercooler. Must be pretty cheap if stuff can get through it.
?? It's not a cheese grater. It's just like any other heat exchanger, whatever the medium may be..
If you remove your air filter or blow your turbo to pieces, microscopic or not it'll either slowly eat away your engine or eat it right away....

Sorry just used to what I work on. It has pretty much same design theory and I never have to worry about particles that will damage the engine going through the aftercooler. We do have to clean the top side of the aftercooler and suction side for the turbos, but never after the aftercooler.

Which top mount kit did you go with?
I just ordered a KLM 6870 last week.
I went with docrace bro, klm is a bit too rich for my blood😭

but man the klm kit looks SOO good,I’m excited for you!
