I’m at stock suspension with a Pitssburg Low profile jack and there’s no way it’ll reach. The edge of the jack is still only at the black plastic guard and about a foot away from the indented area with the bolt.

That's the same jack I have! I just keep sliding it back until I get to the jacking point. You will only be able to move the handle up and down a few inches, but as the car goes up, you'll get more space to jack the handle.

Here's a screenshot from a video of mine:

You can see there isn't much room to move the handle, but as you raise the car, you'll get more space.

Ahhh so you’re pretty much bottoming out the handle just to get it under. What a wonderful design. Thanks for the info!
Yeah it's a little annoying but not too much of a struggle, makes getting the car up in the air very easy, esp because you don't have to deal with using the jackpads on the sides.

Anyone prefer low profile service ramps over jack stands? What brand/model low profile service ramps/jack stands do you prefer? Having a hard time finding jack stands for the Supra that support the jack pad adapter and was wondering if I should go the low profile service ramps?

If anyone is looking for a floor jack, the 3-ton Daytona Long Reach Low Profile jacks do not clear the front bumper at stock height. Still needed to drive the front wheels on top of something to get the back of the jack (towards the handle) underneath the bumper so that it could reach the jack point.

No real issues reaching the rear diff, though it may make light contact with the diff fins if the front of the car is left elevated.

^^^^ I use that same jack but jack it from the side jack points I never jack from the front as there is always a chance of fking up something
I found that out the hard way. Lifting from the sides from now on. <_<

Wish I knew before buying it, or I would have went with a non-long reach version. Hence the post.

I do notice a lot of the Lexus / toyota manuals tell you to Jack it from the front . If you for the hockey puck pads, they fit like a glove Into the side jack points with the Daytona jack. I feel more comfortable with it jacked there. Lol

Damn I was just going to buy this jack today but I'm glad I've read your post. Seems like I don't need this long reach jack if it doesn't reach lol. Should I just go with the regular low profile? Or do you still recommend this "long" reach.

I use RennStands by Safe Jack plus their BMW adapter. No need for tricky lifting points. I'm an older guy and don't like making a simple job complicated.

@puzzled Found your post while searching for information about the Rennstands. Are you able to use them without having to first put your car on ramps?

Doing a quick measurement there’s only about 5 inches of clearance on the side skirt, and my floor jack requires 3 1/2 inches. Not much room to work with!

From someone in the market for a jack, this thread was informative!

You will need to raise the car to get the Rennstand under the car. The Supra is low for stock height. GL!

I purchased the MyChanic 3t floor jack.

Perhaps an overkill but it works very well. Low profile and a range from 3”-19.9”
