Boost 1 is intake manifold, boost 2 is the charge pipe reading, I believe.

They're both accurate... they're in different places. Boost 1 is chargepipe, Boost 2 is manifold.

Edit: I might have it backwards, I'll ask jesse.
Confirmed ^ This is correct.

Depends on what you're looking for.

For any references in regard to Target/Actual boost or reading logs on JB4 you'll want to look at just Boost (psi reading from chargepipe). Boost2 will normally not be used for anyone looking at logs unless you are tuning the vehicle and looking for throttle closures etc. Ignore Boost2 for now...

What boost levels are you seeing stock vs JB?
i was on v20 in the jb4 and all stock
i saw a pick of 17-19 psi at lower gears and go down to 16 psi
and a pick 0f 20-21 psi in higher gears and go down to 18 psi

then i did an update to v22 and boost went much higher with a pick of 22-23 psi in higher gears
i lowered the boost safety to 24 and FF to 40 and everything went back to normal.
yesterday i install the AMS catted downpipe with the GESi cat, the boost went a bit higher so i lowered the boost safety to 22 and now everything is good, i have a great log and almost zero throttle close.

i read here that the stock turbo dont like high boost and can have a failure, it scared me a little bit, if not i would let it boost more to 22-33 psi, i have great pump gas here.

and in stock the car boost 4-5 psi less then with the JB4.

Stock turbo is basically dead around 22-23psi anyway. Just blows hot air.
