Eh, this is one of those cars where sticking with absolute maps is better.

I still haven't figured out why some cars DME request such high boost and low timing. I have reviewed logs for a few cars where this was the case, and we fixed it by running absolute maps, like that Map 6.

To answer your question though - I recommend that Map 6 i just sent for 91, and just Map 4 for E20/E30.
Okay sounds good! My last question is do I need a flex fuel kit or anything to run E85 with 91 pump? Or can I just pump 2 gallons of E85 and fill up all the way with 91 while the cars completely stock?

Iā€™ll send a data log of the Map 6 and a Map 4 when I get E20/E30. Thank you!

Yes, you can see in your owners manual that up to E25 is permitted without any special tuning required. Past E30, I recommend a flex fuel kit to integrate with JB4 like Fuel It.

Do a few pulls on those absolute maps before taking a log, as they can sometimes need to adapt a bit.

You can try that Map 6 on 91 if you want.

I just tried a Map0 run to see what they look like stock and I still get this throttle cut off around 4-5k rpm. Not sure what that means but I believe the other data logs on Map1 had them too.

What Fuel and Duty Bias would I have? Any other settings I should touch?

The fuel column doesn't apply to b58. Port injection only.

Duty bias usually only need to be changed if you are catless. Some high flow dps too

You can post your map 0 log too

Gotcha, I'll try your Map6 soon and post those logs. Here are my Map0 logs. Thanks!

Timing is finally cleaning up with that Map 6. You will need to drive it a bit more to adapt and get more powerful. I really would still recommend some ethanol. Even Map 0 has some timing corrections from low octane. Nothing more than a few degrees, but thats robbing power.

Got it. Iā€™ll keep the Map6 for a while. How much ethanol would you recommend filling for this map? E85 is very hard to come by in Utah.

2 gal is fine. If its too tough for you to find, it will be ok to keep using that Map 6 on 91 anyway. Better option than Map 1 for sure.

I like this Map6 tune you gave me so far! It seems pretty smooth. I've logged 3 more 3rd gear pulls. I don't really know how to read these logs super well but I think they look good?

Yeah, your timing really cleaned up a lot running this Map 6.

Might try one more little revision to see if it is possible to eliminate the last few timing corrections:

May give a little more power, you can try both iterations and see what feels better. You can save Map 6 configs in the JB4 app, so you can have multiple to load at anytime.

unfortunately ~2-3 psi over stock is all you can really achieve on 91 from what I can tell.

Thanks a ton! I'm actually not sure how to save more than 1 map 6 config from the app.

I can for sure feel the extra oomph those 2-3 psi give me. I really didn't want to go much higher anyways as it's my daily driver and I value reliability most.

I'll try this new Map6 and send you over some more pulls. Send me your venmo as well.

Fantastic work helping each other out! I saw the lonely no answer post & was expecting thread starter (Weerit) to go on Adamā€™s link or get a custom tune (like me). This is the kinda experience you want to see on a forum šŸ˜

*(sorry for the interruption - carry on with the intended thread (scheduled ) programming - however the saying goes)*

Question for Adam: Since you track, do you see the possibility for a custom map for tracking? Iā€™ve got a catless dp. The other stuff is suspension goodies or for sound, like exhaust & intake.

Itā€™d be hard for me to do pulls on track unless I had a passenger do it, go limp & pull back into the pits. For obvious reasons, donā€™t want to do that on track. I love the drag style map6 Iā€™ve got now for in town. Itā€™s like owning a different car. But again, I canā€™t use that on track. So I turn the JB4 off. Be nice if I could keep that tune and add a new one I could use on track.

Thanks again for all your help on here amigo!
