I’d like to see you find this job for $150 bucks. It's not so much about the price itself, but the quality you got for the price. I'd be okay paying $1000+ if the bumper and rest of car came back perfectly.. What you got is very similar to a $150 whole sale paint job. Most regular folks would be okay with it on their used Camry's and Accords.. Malibu's and such.
I’d like to see you find this job for $150 bucks. He had to strip the paint, remove the bumper, mix the paint and reboot and clear. That’s not worth $150 bud, dunno where you’re getting that number. I agree it’s not great but some of the things people say about estimates in this job are ridiculous. I got three estimates, all very close, there’s a reason for that.
I was going to suggest just that. The bumper is not difficult to remove. Take it there and repaint it. Hope this application is more successful for you!Update: I have raked it back and they are reshooting it. I’m sure they read no manuals on taking off the bumper so I took it off myself, grilles, black piece and all. It was real easy. These guys are lazy. He even tried to convince me the black spiller was welded on ?. Hope for the best guys.
