if you'll take it back.
1) tell them to take the 3 lower panels off without breaking the tabs along with the harness and the side reflectors (with heat gun, easily removable) or take these off yourself and give them the bare bumper. Since paint matching is done, they can re-use the same mixture.
2) tell them to clean the darn room and close the door while painting or at least close the room as it's curing/drying.
3) have them sand and putty the imperfections.

If you will take it elsewhere, make sure you specifically mention 1, 2, 3 to them and get quote accordingly.

It's not so much about the price itself, but the quality you got for the price. I'd be okay paying $1000+ if the bumper and rest of car came back perfectly.. What you got is very similar to a $150 whole sale paint job. Most regular folks would be okay with it on their used Camry's and Accords.. Malibu's and such.
I’d like to see you find this job for $150 bucks.

I’d like to see you find this job for $150 bucks. He had to strip the paint, remove the bumper, mix the paint and reboot and clear. That’s not worth $150 bud, dunno where you’re getting that number. I agree it’s not great but some of the things people say about estimates in this job are ridiculous. I got three estimates, all very close, there’s a reason for that.

Yea… that’s crap work at best. Not worth what you paid. I would definitely be complaining. Until either they re-do it right. Or give you cash back for a huge correction project. PPF is just going to make that look worse.
Not sure what the bumper looked like before but that is shit work, imo.

At least they got the paint to match…

Sorry to see this man. It's the reason i parked mine for a month to get the PPF done. Personally, i'd take it back and tell them to do it right. I cannot believe they didn't separate the black trim pieces from the bumper to spray it, for one thing.

First pic looks OK as most paint does from less then up close. I have done my far share of paint correction and I know up close and photo zoom/microscope all paint is flawed but for 1100 I would not be happy with that. I would get them to fix or heavy discount. I would also be interested to see what it looked like before as that plays a roll in price/work.

Update: I have raked it back and they are reshooting it. I’m sure they read no manuals on taking off the bumper so I took it off myself, grilles, black piece and all. It was real easy. These guys are lazy. He even tried to convince me the black spiller was welded on ?. Hope for the best guys.

I was going to suggest just that. The bumper is not difficult to remove. Take it there and repaint it. Hope this application is more successful for you!

That's an insane price to pay. I had a hood dent & scratch that was more accurately described as a gash straight through to bare metal (thank you big rigs), full repair and warrantied for 3 years paint match was less than less than $900 at a certified autobody shop here in Norfolk, VA.

The price they charged you is insane. Glad you're taking it back to them, but honestly I'd take my stuff elsewhere. The refraction blue is too beautiful of a color for non-professional work in my opinion.
