And - unless you're trying to beat some horsepower record (you're not), HP doesn't matter at all. Your tracktimes do. Weather it's 1/4 mile or preferred road/autox/timeattack lap time. Chasing HP is silly.

I base my gains by the gap I leave on cars on the highway whether they know they are racing me or not.
