You do realise that the A80 was not the only Supra - the A40, A60 and A70 all had fairly boring interiors. The A70 had a dash that looked like an AE93 Corolla Seca - the A60 looked similar to every other Toyota at the time - corona/AE86 etc etc (and the LFA)

I will reserve judgement until unveiled. Looks a bit Lexus-ish too, which is a good look.

The dash is more important imho.

I feel the A70 dash is a more modern rendition of the 2000GT. Compare them.
Agreed. and compared to contemporary vehicles in 1985, the A70 had a spot-on interior. Once it received shadow grey and black pieces I would say it is (thus far to me) my favourite Supra interior.

First pic is the all new Supra.
Second one shows a BMW 2 series Active Tourer.
Third one is the all new BMW Z4.

For me it looks like the Supra is getting a few older interior parts.
Or the automatic transmission is not the same like the Z4 will get.

Climate control is different too. And the entertainment system? The z4 is equipped with the new iDrive 7 system. Maybe the Supra will come with iDrive 6.

I‘m not happy about that.

It has nothing to do with buttons and everything to do with layout.

If your going to use some BMW parts ok, but literally the interior looks fully BMW and it shouldn't

If you see a styling element that is reminiscent of the concept ft1 or of the old Supra, let me know.

I'll wait...

I´ll hold judgement until I see the production version of the dashboard and interior. Hard to say much with 80% of it covered.
As a fan of analogue gauges, I hope Toyota´s implementation of the full digital display is a good one.

a70 is way cooler than 90 gauges that span until mid but still somehow all for driver. brilliant

even the 2000gt inspired 86 int is better than a90

and it fits so good. well thought out with so much personality

frameless rearview mirror? c'mon

have BMW throw in one of these for the Supra and I'll take the ugliest interior they got

There are elements from the FT1. Which BMW interior do you think it looks like? A70 said, it looks different from the Z4, but at the same time it does still use BMW parts. Some of you make it sound like its a straight up copy and paste.

The FT1 interior gave us something really sporty/fun, something to look forward to. Now we get small glimpses of what the interior may be and from what I can see, it doesn't look fun/sporty like the FT1 gave us. It's that feeling of, thinking you Ace'd the final and you see the report you made a D in actuality.
