Looking for a reliable tuner. Burned once and almost burned twice

I hate to be “that guy.”
I have researched on FB group chat and here and can’t find a solid tuner

Earlier this year, I purchased a tune by Marin. Received the ecutek dongle and the clown NEVER tuned it. I waited about three or four months and I received excuses after excuses.

Now, I reached out to Visconti on FB. We go back and forth and the man is evasive. He mentions he’s gonna send me an invoice to my email and never does. (For whatever reason, you can’t buy his tune via his website. It’s not on it anymore but he says he’ll tune mine)
I’m done with this dude. I’ll go somewhere else

So I reached out to Botti and no response from him either. I understand these guys being busy. But damn…

Is there a reputable tuner that will ACTUALLY communicate with his clients?

Ya I am pretty sure Marin actually went coo-coo for co-co puffs like last year, and Well, Visconti is visconti. Botti is very busy and is very hard to get ahold off nowadays, there are a few good options tho. Sameh Yehia does good work on bm3. Tuners are tough to deal with, they will have their quirks, its tough to recommend because one experience may not be the same as the next. You've come to a good place, you'll get good feedback here.

yeah, I certainly dodged a bullet there. Last I heard, Marin’s website was dissolved. Perhaps he dabbled in some pharmaceuticals he shouldn’t have. I don’t know. I went with him at first because he posted something about a very popular tuner that he supposedly taught. Supposedly the popular tuner maxed out the duty cycle of injectors or something and he blows up the engines because of it.

I always saw Visconti posting back in the day. Figured he knew his stuff and was active in the community.

I have never heard of Zach. I’ll have to research him

If I still had my car I’d be reaching out to Zach @ CSG.

My last experience paying for and then waiting for a Visconti tune revision ended in being ghosted and eventually I filled a claim with PayPal to get my $ back.

You mentioned using ecutek. With that, I'd choose Zach and ONLY zach at CSG. He had my BRZ 400+whp on Ethanol for years and I had no trouble. Would absolutely use him again if I had a 2020.

I have only good things to say about Botti, guys great he’s just very busy. I have had a terrible experience with Visconti and I’ll never do business with him again
