Thx iggyP! I had a RX8 straight piped. That thing was loud as Fcuk!!!!! Even my catless dp with AWE track is too much for my taste on the Supra (as I’ve said before). But my wife likes it. So it’s not like I have any other choice. I just hope she doesn’t ever see this thread - that the Supra could be straight piped ?
It wouldn't happen to have been a black one on some Infiniti wheels? lol

OP this will be loud:

Just disconnect the stock cat-back and run open DP. Loud and free

Fumes will be good for you

I would remove the stock Catback then route the downpipe through the passenger side vents and drive with the windows open to have racetrack-esque AFR in the cabin in combination with the loudest noises a stock cat system can offer while meeting emissions standards.

If the police and the neighbors think its too loud just close the windows.

An RX8 with a straight pipe had to sound like complete and utter disaster crap diarrhea vomit flames.
Can confirm. My ears haven't recovered yet. Also, I purchased mine that way and it ended up with a full exhaust right after.

You’re thinking of a straight piped 350z ?

Straight piped rotaries always sound good IMO (but maybe I’m just biased since I’ve owned 9 of them).

Nope, I am thinking rotaries. Sounds like poo.
That's the most interesting take I've seen in a while, possibly years. I don't think I've ever met someone who didn't like the sound of rotaries, even those who hate on their reliability and lack of torque. Well I'll be damned!
