how to read it is 20% was for 2021 models. 15% going onward from 2022.

Why are only 2.0s effected and not 3.0s?
Probably logic - if there's a shortage of electronic components that are shared between 2.0 and 3.0 models, I would allocate those components to 3.0 cars instead of 2.0, since 3.0 cars have a higher selling price.

3.0 inventory is probably the lowest it’s been since launch. With recent record sales, and it being a sellers market, I can see it being a tight market for some time to come.

Most car makers are doing that.

Yeah it says "Covid", but why isn't it affecting the 3.0s as well?

What I'm wondering is if the demand for the 2.0 was a little lower then Toyota had expected for the U.S. So maybe they are allocating more 2.0s for JP and EU where the demand is much higher.
The whole Covid excuse is probably just Toyota saving face with the lower than expected sales of the 2021 2.0.

It will be down to 0 by the time the Z is released lol.

One would hope there would be low inventory of 2021 Supras, we are in July already. They much rather be in a low inventory situation than a high inventory situation with 2022 models around the corner.

I'm in the UK. When I ordered my Lightning Yellow 2 Litre (I think they call it Nitro Yellow in the States), the salesman said there was only one available in Toyota's UK distribution centre, although there may have been others in dealerships.

Glad I got our 2.0 last month! Absolutely love it ;b

With it tuned to target 22 psi (should be around 300whp) and the blue Gram Lights that are going on tomorrow, it's almost near perfect for me alongside the carbon fiber goodies already on ;b
