I finally just got unlocked and tuned last week and am also using MHD.

Same setup as you, running stage 2 and catted AA dp. Do you know if changing that DP option in MHD only enables/disables that sensor? Like should I just run the tune all the time with the OEM cat option selected? Or does it also effect the tune itself?
That option suppresses the CEL you can get from catless or catted. Does nothing for the tune performance wise. Surpressing that CEL also makes it to so the DME cannot pass the OBD2 readiness for the catalyst, hence the no pass. The car will operate the same with it on/off.

Perfect, I wasn't sure if it adjusted anything tune wise for a higher flow/catless DP.

I have to get my inspection done this week so I'll just change it to the OEM cat option and leave it that way since my AA catted DP never caused a CEL in the first place.

Appreciate the help

Do yourself a favor as well and make sure the readiness tests are all passed successfully before inspection. It takes some time. You can follow this and it will help accelerate the process (ignore the using ISTA/clearing codes part):
