If each headlight shifted outward towards the fenders about 3-4 inches and the front fenders were flared wider 3-4 inches, it would drastically give the car a better look. The lower vents (grill) and headlight placement, sit far too narrow. The lower vents are cut short towards the fenders by the vertical headlight vent which further gives the illusion of a narrow 'face'. Compare the Supra's flawed design with that of an AMG GT for example, a superior design. The GT's headlights sit into the fender and the lower vent openings extend towards the fender as well maximizing the wide, intimidating stance; an illusion of a wider car:
Doesn't the mkv look better in these photos above than in some of the other recent pics? Scale in the headlights in these pics is better now they have been covered, especially they DTLED scheme that runs into the center and are overall better in size relation to the narrow vents and hood width. The shape the headlights take on now is that of the new Aston Martin Vantage which also places the lights far into the fenders. It is a fatal design flaw Toyota needs to be aware of and fix. If you say you love it like it is, you might simply have convinced yourself to love the soon to be revealed product.
