Hello Guys

Recently joined your forum as I’ve finally gotten my hands on a late 2020 Supra 3.0 GR. Apart from some minor BMW headaches , I’m lovin the Zupra / Supra.

Just fitted an intake from Armaspeed, Fi Exhaust Turbo Back, CF Shifters and pending on my other bits and Artisian Spirits kit from Japan.

Hey All
I just picked up my 2021 Supra 3.0 Premium this past Friday. Normally I am not a big fan of Silver Cars. But it just looks right on the Supra. Waiting impatiently to get to over 1200 miles for break in.

Just picked up a used A90 in Georgia with 14k miles, dealership said it was stock, I arrived and quickly noticed it already had a Catless DP, intake, chargepipe, Titan-protune and it's on lowering springs.. nothing wrong with free bolt ons lol It has quickly stolen the spotlight from my FD rx7 ?

Feel free to follow me on IG, I'll def follow back, I need more A90 content on my feed lol

Bought this a little over a week ago and am loving it. 2021 3.0 Premium Turbulence. Coming from C7 Z51, GT350, and Camaro SS1LE, this car feels so much lighter and more nimble. I’ve owned sports cars my whole life (first 4 were RX-7’s) and all were manual. The Supra is my first auto, and it was a huge concern. Honestly, I’m loving the ZF. I’m using paddles pretty much 100% of the time..

2021 Supra 3.0 Premium - Turbulance Gray
Hey all,

First post here, but been lurking the past few weeks during my research phase. I've been eying the 2021 Supra for a bit, mostly admiring its performance on the track. I am about to trade in my 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman (base 2.0L) for a 2021 turbulence grey Supra 3.0 premium. I can't wait! The 718 was great, I loved it and tracked it 8 times since I got it last year. It's very fast and capable on the track, out-pacing nearly everyone in my run group but I am looking for something with a bit more oomph in the straights and overall more power on daily drives. My tuned 718 still didn't feel as quick as the 3.0 Supra I drove. I am getting just under what I paid for on the 718 in the trade so I want to take advantage of these used car prices.

This is the first brand new car I will be buying since my 2017 Audi S3, and I am second guessing if it's good for me to buy it because I am concerned about the break in period. The dealer had to drive it 180 miles from another dealership to get it. They did a dealer trade. The color I wanted wasn't available nearby. I told them to be careful driving it, not to go above 4k RPM and to watch out for trucks. They said their dealer trader drivers are 70 years old and I have nothing to worry about lol.

I read through the break-in thread and wow, what a mixed bag of opinions. Guess I'll just roll the dice and hope that how the dealer drove it for the first 200 miles doesn't have a negative affect on it's longevity! I actually think I am more concerned about seeing a rock chip on the hood when I go to pick it up lol.

Anyways, I will report back and let you all know how my purchase experience went and post a photo of it. I honestly can't wait to drive it!

They're right about the drivers. It's always very old retired folks that do these drives part time to stay busy. I doubt it was driven hard, and these motor haven proven to be very strong and reliable so far. In short, I wouldn't worry about it.

I test drove a 718 before buying my Supra, the Supra is just so much more raw. It lacks the refinement of the porsche but in a great way.

Wow, thanks for all the fast responses. This seems like a great community just like the Porsche folks. Thanks for the positive reinforcement.

I won’t worry too much about the break in. My 718 cayman was sold as “used” with only 360 miles on it and I’m sure it was pushed during most of those miles.I put 25k miles on it in a year. Haven’t had any issue with it one bit. Runs like a champ.

Yeah- I second everyone here. You’d have to WOT 100% of the time for that many miles. I think you’ll be ok, especially if your following the break in period your self once you take delivery.

Get wheel spacers, BimmerCode out all of the garbage, and drop it an inch all around.

Welcome

What do you recommend for dropping it? I haven’t even started searching mods yet. I did plan on making some suspension tweaks for the track, as this will be track car. Track pads and better brake fluid are first on my list of mods. And tires.

I’ll have to look into Bimmercode. Seen it mentioned here a ton but haven’t looked into what it can do. I’m assuming some sort of software to make edits in the software/infotainment system.

What kinda joke of a dealership did you buy it from? The dealership where I worked at, we always trailered the car back from another dealership unless it was like a few miles away.

Leave the suspension alone, car comes perfect stock.

I'm a huge fan of the Swift springs. Cheap enough, ride quality is :chef-kiss-emoji:.
