Anyone's wheels come in within the last month or hear any other updates?

So I finally got my answer

Can’t say I didn’t try. The wheels are now ~$500 each. I‘ve got 7 days to claim em 😂 . Kudos to y’all that actually bagged some at $200 a piece or less.

Did they up the price on you as well?
~ nope price remained the same. just awaiting the rears. front wheels and tpms are being held at the dealer until the rears arrive. paid upfront to assure pricing.

received an email from the dealership last week saying this:

"So, when the wheels were ordered the price on the website was incorrect. The wheels should have been priced at $513.00 each not $133.42. The wheels are currently still on order with Toyota with an ETA of 8/17/2023 but the online order will need to be canceled and your money refunded. If you still want the wheels at the correct price you will need to place a new order online at Link removed. Let me know how you want to proceed."

I have had a dialogue with the dealership for months and even picked up the TPMS that were on the order. I feel like this is something I could fight to have them honor the pricing, considering I placed the order/paid in early February and they are just now telling me this. Not the dealership necessarily, but Toyota NA or whoever handles distribution.

Yeah, same. I just got a refund for my $500 and change. They made me pay in advance and it took ages to hear back or get the refund. Probably shouldn’t have taken my money from the start. But we all knew the price was insane. Kudos to any of you guys who actually got the deal/steal 😉

Hadn’t heard much from the dealership I ordered these from since February. I called and left a voicemail to the parts manager. He calls me back Monday and let’s me know the last wheel arrived and that the order will ship out the following day. A day later, and boom. They’re in. Now to throw these on.

Picked up my wheels from Toyota today. The rears finally arrived two days ago. Glad to finally have the set!

My wheels arrived today! Unfortunately, Toyota cheaped out on the packing materials:

It's no secret these boxes are pathetically thin for wheels, let alone expensive forged wheels. I received my set undamaged, but resold them to someone in Ohio, and triple-boxed the bastards before I sent them out.

Hopefully your dealer replaces it for you with little headache.

Damn that blows. Sorry to see that. Hopefully it's won't take forever for a replacement.
