Has anyone run or thought about running a 305-30-19 instead of 35 series in the back? The 305-30 is much closer in height to the stock 275-35. It would effect the speedo much less. Or is it bad due to lesser sidewall?
I was looking into buying a set of BC Forged's w/ tires that come at that size as well. 275/35/19 in the front and 305/30/19 in the rear, however I wasn't sure if that would be a bad thing considering the height difference between front and rears. I'm still on stock suspension but have contemplated lowering the car, so my other concern was rubbing on the rears if I do lower. Or hell, will I even rub on stock suspension? :dunno:

These are 305/35/19 Michelin pilot super sports on stock wheels w/ 13mm spacers in the rear also. Lowered on H&R. No rub.
You had no issues wrapping 305's on the stock wheels? Everything I've read is saying 295 is the limit you should go. Did you put a spacer on your fronts as well?

Those are the exact sizes I have (20ā€ wheels) lowered on swift springs..
The only time I get ā€œrubbingā€ is in very deep dips..
Other than that zero issues..

I put 295 pilot ss on factory rear wheels..
Way to much of the tire rolling over the rim.. not a good look imoā€¦
I canā€™t imagine how a 305 would look on factory wheels..

a lot of people seem to run that size on factory wheel though..
I think for the most part a 10ā€ wheel is the narrowest size wheel you can run with a 305..

Oh wow, you're running 20" AND lowered? Any noticeable differences while driving on the 35 front and 30 rear? Someone earlier in this thread mentioned 30's riding rough compared to 35's. Are you using spacers? Would really love to see a pic of the car's stance if you have one.

There really is no difference in ride quality.. but I also donā€™t mind a stiffer ride..
Honestly itā€™s only 5mm difference..
No spacers with the bc forged wheels..

Thank man..
Before I bought the wheels I ran 10/13mm spacers with factory wheels..
Fit was pretty good with the car lowered..

13mm spacer on the rears, 15mm up front. No rubbing issues whatsoever, car is always doing donuts and drifting, still no rubbing. šŸ¤™šŸ½

295-35 or 295 30?
I'm thinking a 295-35 will have too much profile meat and a 30 not enough. But a 30 would look and sit better.

Honestly I donā€™t remember. Iā€™m pretty sure they were 35.
unfortunately Iā€™ve switched out wheel n tires and donā€™t have the factory ones close to look at..
When I get a minute Iā€™ll check for you..

**edit
I just looked at old pictures.
They were definitely 35 ratio..
I think a 30 series would look a little strange.. as in being to short?

good luck with your decision..
