The OEM injectors have this gasket between the injector and rail. In the Norstrum instructions, it says nothing about reusing them, and I don’t see how you can use them while using the spacer to preinstall the injectors to the rail. Are they there just to prevent dust and grime or are they a must have?? all the videos I’ve seen and info I researched. It’s not clear but it appears they are left off

Disregard. They are discarded as they are just there for the factory assembly process

No need to compress seals on new injectors. Only if you are replacing the seals as well.

What he said. I went to compress them and the tool literally slid right over them. Scratched my head for a minute then just put them right in.
