But fantastic news!! Cant believe the day finally arrived. I know it wont happen, but I wish there was a youtube video explaining how the team figured it out, the fact that it took 7 years makes this all the more intriguing.

2020 here and I'm on S18T-24-11-520 software with my own bench unlock tool from missiontuning super license (I have few backups of my DME) and tuned with MHD.

Will report back after they do this service on my supra

Few issues

- features of MHD+ like multimaps switching isn't there and you can't do any live adjustments either.

- exhaust flap stays open all the time. its supposed to stay closed in normal mode which is default.

-The remote start option doesn't show up on the supra app.

- Car sounds a tad louder than before in sport mode, during upshifting/downshifting.


I tried to unlock with mission tuning tool and it was unsuccessful so I thought maybe I didn't lose my unlock after the remote start coding so I proceed to flash MHD and it flashed the OTS 93 map successfully.

I don't know if using an mhd unlocker will fix the issues I have. They told me to contact MHD about this but I highly doubt they want to deal with it lol.


I'm thinking of flashing my backup DME into the car

As for the app - you just use ventilate option. That behaves as remote start.
Multimaps - we discussed this, you may need to ask MHD. They most likely need to add support for specific software.
As for the throttle valves, do you use any valve controller?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am still trying to get my hands on the MHD Unlocker tool. I will also report back if I have any better luck.

Ecutek will work fine with this as they confirmed they fixed BMW remote start features in RaceRom Version 65662

Gotcha, I will play around with the ventilation options in the supra app. I reached out to MHD so I will hear what they will say.

No, I'm not using any valve controller - its on the factory valve controller. Normal mode is closed all the time, and when you hit the sport button, it opens the valve.
