Yeah I go back and forth between wanting to powder coat maybe red wheels or buying wheels that would kill me out 2k...

Dude... I just can't figure what I like. At times I even love the stock wheels when the dust isn't caked over them hahah

Picked mine up yesterday! Years of white and silver and grey sports cars, finally decided to go all out on yellow ?

Yep... they really love the color. All the bees spending hours trying to figure out where the pollen is on my car. I figure it's like your average American stumbling across this:

Depends on how you feel about being incredibly obvious. I think black is a bit boring on this car, honestly, it's like getting a Lotus in black. Why bother? To each their own, but when I see a black Ferrari or Lamborghini or Corvette it just depresses me. If you want lines and a crazy body style, might as well be able to see it after sunset.

In yellow you're going to be the most visible car in 200 square miles, if that bothers you.

I will say, having never liked black cars, I don’t mind the Supra in black. But for me, nothing looks as good as this yellow! It looks amazing when it’s clean and waxed (I know a lot of people go ceramic coating, but I enjoy waxing the car - and the Supra being so small it only takes ~30 minutes to do 2 coats).

Here are some pictures after the first time I waxed it. This yellow is really bright and will draw a lot of attention.

Probably did... last year we exported 3.4 billion pounds of beef to China. I know McDonalds does a decent chunk of business there as well - although I'm unsure if their beef is included or sourced differently. Admittedly, I'm also unsure if there's any actual beef in their burgers...

When i first heard about toyota releasing the MKV supra in yellow when they were about to release them to the states, i knew i had to see it in person. The first time i saw it in person, i never looked at any other color option after.

Yellow supra definitely beautiful. But for some reason, it looks like a very different yellow in some photos here. One of them i really like, the other i don't. Is it just the shading/lighting?

I do think it’s a hard colour to photograph. Between digital camera sensors and screens, yellow is often a tricky colour to reproduce accurately (cameras use RGB sensors and screens use RGB pixel structures… yellow is really tricky to reproduce accurately). That’s why I tried showing you pictures in 3 different lighting conditions - I thought it may help to bring out different details or shadows.

Before buying mine, I needed to see what it looked like in person. I ended up driving 200km each way to a dealer that had one in stock. It was exactly what I was looking for. I do think this colour really compliments the car. It’s a proper, deep, non-metallic yellow. I love it in person. Sometimes the clear coat can bring out a lot of reflections in pictures so it can look a little less vibrant, but that’s not the case in person; there are reflections, but they don’t detract from the colour as much.

Have you had a chance to see one in person?

(full disclosure, I’m colourblind to most colours but yellow is one I can see pretty well… maybe that’s why I like it so much? lol)
