2020 LE with 68k. Dp/RK ti single exhaust/tuned etc. Bought end of June 25 and have put just over 1k miles on it so far.

Noticed the last couple months I had to top up the coolant (got the message on the screen). Noticed lately been getting white smoke, at start up and at idle.

Today I got the oil level low (add a quart). The dealership did a full service on the car including oil change before it was sold to me. Again, I've only put about 1000 miles on It since I bought it.

Had to add more coolant today too. Clearly this isn't right! No way I can use that much oil in 1k miles. And I have to keep topping up the coolant too. (HT-12).

Looked up the symptoms on google and the forum. Some say head gasket, others say it could be a pcv issue.

Anyone have any insight into this kinda of issue? If it's consuming coolant and oil then that's a no bueno! Runs fine, drives without issues etc.

which reservoir is getting low? can try to bleed the system. might have air pockets. if still continue to miss coolant can try pressure test and if no external leak. bye bye head gasket. regarding the oil low its a 2020 some are known to burn crazy oil. maybe go thicker oil. previous owner might of yeetd the car lol

It is the larger cap reservoir, the one nearest the rad. The smaller one is fine, never had to fill it.
I'm just worried it's a head gasket.

Also forgot to mention, there is no residue or creamy/mayo looking stuff on the cap.

Have you checked the water pump? I had a slow leak, having to top off the fluid a couple of times...had it replaced under warranty.

I'm leaning toward the oil filter housing. The oil stand/housing if I recall right carries coolant AND oil. It's a pretty common failure point on the BMW side.
Generally most start to get leaky around 75k-ish. On the Supra, the oil stand sits toward the back of the motor, driver's side. It holds the oil filter.

If you want to check for yourself, get two bottles of this dye and the UV flashlight and yellow glasses. About $25-$30 for all of it on Amazon.

You just add it to the oil or coolant, drive it for a few days. Leaks under the UV flashlight WILL glow a bright orange/yellow. Just did this with my son's car. But caveat, on the B58 motor, the labor on the job is 5-6 hours. It's a PIA to get to and also, it's a plastic housing. So if you find it leaking, consider a metal housing.

Ahh ok, thanks! Yeah, there is no way in hell I've used a quart of oil in 1k miles! And in 1k miles I've had to top of the coolant 3 times. I'll definitely check that out.

I have not. With it being both coolant and oil consumption I figured either a leak, engine head gasket or pcv to be honest. Worth checking the pump for sure

My first 2019 Supra had to have the water pump replaced on the first service 😕 resulting in low coolant

My oil has gone a quart in 1k miles. Also the coolant 3 times topped off in the same time . Hopefully I get to find it's something fairly simple and not too expensive 🤷
