Oil filter stuck in housing

Doing an oil change and my filter seems to be stuck in the housing. I can twist it a little bit but it just doesn’t come out at all no matter how hard I tug.

Anyone have advice on dealing with this?

Got it out, just had to tug like hell lol

More ugga dugga. Grab tighter and twist harder.

I’ve seen someone post about this before. You need to yank it out and might have the end cap stuck in there to deal with.

This is why its important to use o-ring grease on the filter too.
