Both can.Is there a way to check oil pressure with an OBD link using bimmercode or bootmode
Or something similar?

For Bimmerlink, not sure. You can download the BM3 app for free and log without having your ecu flashed with BM3Ok, can you get oil pressure reading on the free app? Or you have to pay for the better app to get the oil pressure readings?
BM3 = Bootmod. App is free to use. Don't need an ecu flashed with Bootmod to log.Bimmerlink is $36
I literally just told you how?All I want is to check oil pressure, other then hard piping and using an actual gauge , there must be a simple way to check oil pressure
Which PID? Oil *pressure* is not a normal SAE PID. Maybe you are thinking fuel pressure or oil temp?Literally any OBD reader. Oil pressure is a standard SAE value reported over CAN to OBD scanners. Though I admit I'm curious as to why you're looking at it, since I'm 99.999999% it's in-spec.
