oil/vacuum pump recall with JB4

i have 2021 GR 3.0 with JB4
i will be going to the dealership next week to do the oil/vacuum pump recall
should i unplug the jb4 or just leave it pluged on map 0?

i dont know the exact name for the recall, but i know they will be doing an engine software update.

I would unplug your JB4 for the brake recall. Any electronics that are not OEM increase the risk of causing issues during the recall.

This includes 1 for 1, plug and play swaps. If it wasn't on the car from factory, either swap it back to OEM, or roll the dice.

Also - if you have a battery charger, make sure your battery is fully charged up before you take it in - there is a theory here that during the update the battery dies which causes the update to fail.

My JB4 was installed during my brake recall, just removed from OBDII.
