kaj, have you tried clearing all your codes for kicks, and see if the airbag one sticks? ACSM errors are sticky errors that don't self clear
I have been backward and forward with the developers. Clearing codes is the first thing I tried before even contacting them. We're so far past that by now :D

Get this:

I went back out to the car and followed the step-by instructions I got from beamer geeks. Still no luck.
I went back to check Bryan's how to. The difference between his and theirs is they told me only to change the section shown in this picture, circled in red, they did not tell me to change the setting in green.
The only other difference is the new app does not have a section listed as "sector 1:0001B29"
I actually had to take a couple extra steps to get to that one, though I'm not sure I needed to, with the new app.
Slightly different than Bryan's version, and totally different than what beamer geeks advised.
TLDR: dig into the menus to find the sections in Bryan's how to.

I now have no airbag warning ??

Remember what I said about operator error? ? I know it sounds like a dig but I say that because I’m the biggest error operator ever, it’s how I learn. ?

Also, did you print out the instructions? ??

If by operator error, you mean the operator that was giving me instructions, yes ?
I cut and pasted to a word document at work, printed it out and brought it home. Yes. I printed the internet lol. I wasn't going to let my swapping back and forth from one screen to another be the reason I missed a step.
I was going to write beamer geeks back and let them know their advice was wrong, but they let me figure this out of my own, they can figure that out on their own ?

Yeah I’ll stick to the OEM seats for a while ?
hi it's me

edit:
i do worry a bit about coding these things out. if you plug in the modules/resistor, you know the airbag logic remains what it was from the oem. coding something out changes the code path and it's then a guessing game on whether the logic remains the same, or falls back to something else (e.g. all airbags deploy in an accident that would deploy one, which i think happens when you code out the passenger side). not saying if it's more or less safe, just ?‍♀ on what the engineers coded as the try catch

e.g. ZUENDKREIS_1=ignition_circuit_1, but what else is on that circuit?if in terms of coding, ZUENDKREIS_N has n < number of igniters (8 afaik), that must mean there are multiple airbags per circuit?

kaj, have you tried clearing all your codes for kicks, and see if the airbag one sticks? ACSM errors are sticky errors that don't self clear
That’d be me, driving along and poof ? the airbag deploys on the track.

I love visiting Greenville, SC. Maybe someday I’ll make the roadtrip in the Supra, do some mountain driving, buy a seat from Thunder Racing Bunny and let them do all the coding voodoo ?‍♀

I'm going to go for it over the Winter after I buy a new DD.

I'm going with the OMP WRC-R with sliders and I'll probably be using the 3-point seat belt at first. I had belt locks on my STi years ago, so I'll probably use those with the seat. I'm debating doing both seats at the same time. In the future I'll add a 6-point and probably a Dashbuilt roll bar.

I like my dash like i like my Christmas tree. tons of lights
I don’t mind the CEL at all for my free flowing cat. But knowing she doesn’t lockup, go limp and still runs on track for ya Rock helps… I still may do it someday. However I’m still using her for double duty occasionally and it’s nice having everything working (for now…)

Stupid TPMS ruined my day, after saying such nice things about them! ?
Managed a measley 4th place today with a car stuck on "slow down and stop driving" or whatever blah blah, followed by the obligatory turning on of all nannies.
Yes I reset the PSI multiple times, etc. Has this been asked?:
Since this was my first time with this error, the ONLY difference is that I STARTED with the PSI that I ended with, last track day. I usually start at 30psi and air down by my last and final session. This time I started off around 24-25psi, which is below threshold, yes? Could that be why I suddenly had a problem?
Each time I got the error, I couldn't clear it while driving so came into the hot pit where I would change up the tire options and let it relearn again.
At one point it told me that I probably wanted 49 PSI in the front...., I must have clicked on winter tire option, or something lol
Anyway...
After my session, the tires were pretty warm so I said F it and put them all at 31 psi.
For some reason, by the time I got to the hot pit, I only had 27 psi in my right front, and you know what happened.
Day. Ruined.
So, new tires on way, TPMS going bye bye, happy motoring to commence.
I'm a bit disappointed, I really like having the sensors. As soon as they read my target PSI I know they are warmed up and ready to go.
It was also a quick way for me to look at tire pressures as soon as I exit the track.
Back to the old-school methods. ????

That sucks man! Probably doesn't help it was a billion degrees out. I typically go down to 27 psi cold and haven't had issues. Might be time for you to completely remove the sensors so the car never knows the psi and just deal with the warnings.

Have anyone of you used JB4 on the track ???
Only in auto-x. Big track stuff it goes back to stock tune. Still, easy to get the IATs too high.

Yeah. The minor benefit isn't worth the risk of this happening again.

I still have tire sensors on all my rims. I Turn off traction control completely and start around 26 27 psi. The first few laps it will turn traction control back on if they are below 27. So have to reach over and hold it down again while on track. Once they get to above 30 it is ok. So normally is only in the mornings when it is cooler. Coming off track are at 37 to 38. Depending on tire then I drop hot 32 35. And is normally good. For rest of day. Not sure how it will react with no sensors. Next morning tires are at 25 cold. Which I normally do leave at that psi as then they come right back to the same hot temps. However on that first session in morning then usually have to hit the switch again during first few warm up Laps until that are up to temp.
