Ok so I will stick with 275 for my 18x10 ET 30s but what about 40 instead of the 35 aspect ratio? Apex suggested the 40s might rub With OEM suspension but how about with the camber plates. If it was fender rub maybe I would be fine.
I’m on 275/40-18s right now and no problems. But I do have a full blown race shop doing the setup, with Ohlins, LCAs, and plates - they removed my spacers to avoid outer wheel well rub. Ideally your shop (or you) will put as much negative camber you can without rubbing the OEM suspension and still tuck under the hood fender. Obviously need some wiggle room for compression.

The guys I know on OEM suspension and camber plates aren’t running as much negative camber. But they’re still hauling ass and having fun! If you’re doing double duty (street and track), I’d say stick to the OEM suspension and try it on the 275s. After seeing how fast some OEM guys can go on spec alignments and 275 square tires (or even the OEM wheels & better tires), it’s pretty impressive.

I think @kaj was on OEM suspension. Shocking himself and others with fast lap times. Another guy down here (similar Jason’s experience), was doing the same. Flying around the track! I honestly didn’t know that when I bought all my aftermarket suspension parts. But if you’re determined to get a bigger tire under that front fender, lower control arms and coilovers will give you more flexibility & room, with your plates. If that’s what you’re determined to do.

Lots of options for this car. Pretty damn cool! Exactly what I was hoping for this platform. Still exceeding my expectations ?

Here’s the year end to date at Sebring. I couldn’t find any other Supras listed on the Garmin. My buddy Carlo (in a 2020 Supra!) is running 2.26 on OEM suspension, wheels, alignment, with just upgraded tires, fluid, and sway bars. He’s now in a BRZ or he’d be even higher. The Catalyst has my optimal time in the 2:23s if/when I put all my best sectors together (and don’t break any bolts ?).

@Todday1 thanks for your info & help with the window film tear off options. I ended up getting this ?

My local guy did Ultrafit. So far so good. No broken windshield (yet lol) and easy to clean using waterless wash ?

Powertex is not so-cheap anymore + i will have AG in a week in EU so I'll prob stick to that.
Overall goal is with full aero and full tank to be under 3300lbs ( ~1485kg and under).

Yep. 2023 champ against cars with slicks, coilovers, and other mods.

Looks like you went back to 35s with your new Maxis tires you just bought?

Congrats! I can only imagine hearing those other guys crying about it. Wish I could have been there to see it all go down.
Thanks! Those guys weren't too happy. They said they are making changes for next year. I'm gonna check out the points system to see if my car moves to B2.

His car is stock minus wheels, tires, pads and camber plates.
That's about it. Tires are cheater 200tw and camber plates didn't do much because I'm on stock struts. 91oct gas and all. I never even got an alignment done.
These cars are FAST, right from Toyota, with a decent driver.
No aero, etc:

Well, gives me hope with 500crank hp, aero and some suspension it may be able to compete with GT3's :)
But well, drivers here are fast and on slicks too.

If I can beat "meh" drivers in GT3s, you should have no problem.
But ... You also have no excuses. ?
