Hey there,

I am a newbie here.

I am looking to get a roll bar and harness for tracking my a90. With the roll bar, I think there will be slightly less room for the seats. I am 178/5'10", so no giant. I am heading to a Recaro place in New Jersey and wondering about recommendation for seats that will fit well with roll bar.

Any good recommendations? Also, any experience with Studio RSR roll bar for the a90? Good choice?

Thanks in advance!
Since you’re new, really good link of a track build:

If keeping yours track focused. Lots of good info there ☝

Just wanted to share here since I know not all of you are in the MkV Supra Track Car FB Group. I'm designing a set of aggressive front fenders to evacuate as much air from the front wheel wells as possible while still looking cool. Seeing as this is the "Race tracking your supra information exchange" thread, I figured you all might have some interest and have feedback. Lmk what you think!

My post:
"
Just curious, would there be any interest in a more aggressive vented front fender design that deletes the windshield washer reservoir in favor of airflow? (for context, purple shows the scan I took of my car, you can see how much of a cut in the fender makes. NOTE: this is in the early design phase)

No track days for me until next year most likely busy with other life stuff and working on tuning so car is down
You seriously have a never ending project. Haha. I think its been over a year since I have seen your car so I am sure its going to be completely different now!

Sadly no :( I need brakes ?
I got some sweet stock pads you can have.

Nah. The tires that came on my car are super inappropriate. ?
I do plan on taking it out there at least once, though.
Still got the Supra right? One last joy ride?

I got a set of DCT-30s and @bushido has the DCT-60s if you really get in a pinch.
Got mine from Josh at Meraki Autoworks. Currently in stock. Glad you’re getting out there ?

275/35 square vs 295/30 r18? Any1 used both/simmilar sizes?

I have my old 2.0 track wheels with tires [Dunlop direzza 03g 265 (278mm thread)] and wondering if i should sell them coz I may have a buyer. Gonna run Direzza/a052 only.
Goal in the next year is ~470 crank hp (400whp), maybe up to 500whp in the future. Looked at Supra GT4 which runs 305 square slicks so I figured 295 square would be fine choise but... 2nd guessing it now as I have wheels and some tires alrdy. Thinking for the future as this will be track setup for years to come.

Any opinions?

Ill have some feedback after Saturday on something similar. Normally use 315s but for this event I will be on 275s. Next event I will be on 295s. I honestly think 315s are overkill. Virtually impossible to get them up to temp. The good news was I could do 20 min sessions and the tires never got greasy.
