Thanks for finding that. I was initially confused on the downward parabola shape, but then I realized they were presenting discrete data as curves (note the uneven X-increment).

Here's the raw extracted data for 18 AoA and 70 inch. Data has not been multiplied by 66/70.

145 @ 60 mph
618 @ 120 mph
939 @ 150 mph
Dunno if this is with normal or big aero endplates, waiting for info. Dunno how stands height affect it too, I assume its for standard heigh not PHD higher track stands.
I asked about Supra application specificaly, but dunno if this aero chart is universal or not.

Wonder how it performs on car too, coz df in a vacuum on wing itself it different than on a car. Can be observed on Verus charts with V1X wing, on its own it gives huge df yet with full package tested on car its visibly less efficient compared to UCW. Or at least it seems from their info packets.

Found out the hard way. Survived my first ever track day a couple months ago at NJMP Thunderbolt. Picked up some wheels/tires off a forum member.. some track pads and fluid. Downpipe/tune are my only other mods. The day went perfectly, couldn't be happier with how the car performed other than me overdriving a bunch, a healthy amount of understeer. Hot brakes.

Anyways I was dealing with a pretty annoying clicking sound coming from all four corners depending on load. Did some research and apparently it's somewhat common with Apex forged wheels, took them off to remount them (fixed my clicking sound temporarily) and found this. My left rear must've self cleared on the track. Had no idea this was happening, bummed out. Will have them off the car again today to further inspect what the heck happened, what it ground on. Figured I'd report that the 19x11 et40 does not work on track ? stock suspension, no spacer.
HKS springs give you enough clearance. I'm running them with 18x11s and no issues so far.

Ordered HKS Hipermax R to replace the stock soft suspension this winter. Still plan to drive the car stock on track this summer to have a good base line feel.

he said the rear was running into clearance issues, though. hks perch only helps up front.
It adds a little bit in the rear too but very minimal. Makes me wonder how off the oem alignment might be. Same offset and width on my end but no issues.

huh, didn't think the rear shock dust cap would be hard enough to dig into the rim.

Endplates do very little as far as the whole picture. This was tested here: https://occamsracers.com/2023/11/17/testing-end-plates-in-a-wind-tunnel/

You def read the info packet incorrectly.

Springs in the rear change absolutely nothing about the wheel to strut clearance. 19x11 +40 should not even come close to touching the rear strut. I'm running rear true coilovers with the spring on the strut which basically has a little less clearance than stock and I run 18x11 +40 with zero issue.

Also, if you look at the photo his tire sticks our further than the wheel yet has no damage. The story is not complete on this.

The graph for SP012 is with standard endplates.
Spage says their bigger 3d endplates increase df by 2-4% in their testing. I think its fair given the more complicated shape etc. Not a huge difference but could be used to counter for span loss, for example, or just add some lbs.

I know what I didnt account for reading Verus graph of ventus packages - they show it for 1650mm V1X, not 1950mm one (they show chart for 1950mm one lower), thats why I came with different conclusion, my mistake there.

4% of 400lbs is 16.

I rest my case. ;)

Well I know, I saw that test before, didnt say this small gain is cost effective :D

I asked them about their top fender vents to give rough estimate on df too (or lift reduction), will see.

Touche... I was only thinking of the slightly tighter spring and my brain completely forgot the strut

Got in touch with a Canadian Project Mu supplier yesterday. He said the Club racers are in stock at Project Mu and the special order would take ~2 weeks to fullfil. I don't know if the import process is different here in Canada than in the US and that would affect availability, but I ordered them... Will keep you posted.
Well, obviously, they finally got back to me saying they are not going to be received untill october...

Anybody got feedback on Winmax w6.5 pads?

i got my club racers a few months before ETA :)

i'd say place an order if you reeaally want them, just to stay on the list

i've read a Paragon R7/R5 combo is great for the track. Paragon, made by Winmax
