I’m planning on getting the rear subframe bushings from Millway. However, I don’t want to reuse the old bolts, I’m assuming they’re torqued to yield. Anyone have an idea about the part numbers for these bolts?

REALOEM would almost certainly have them under the G29 Z4.

In all the years of people swapping these bushings they've never mentioned TTY but you could be right. If you can find a Supra repair manual online, and they float around with links on this forum, you can check the torque specs and if they indicate replacing them. Just to be sure either way.

In "all the years" where? I see you're new here, so you get a pass, because most have us have known they are TTY for the last five years.

Thanks for the info, just saw your post on the other thread. Very helpful.
So which ones will I need to replace the “rear subframe bushings”, or what other bushings will come in my way when Im replacing them. So I can replace them While I’m at it ?.
quantities would be helpful as well.

Thrax has a thread with every bolt listed and quantities. I reposted it somewhere after I ordered the entire lot. Great to have!!

Sorry, 15 years on the BMW forums and having done the RSFB's myself. Not once has anyone mentioned TTY on these. To answer the question.

Also I certainly don't mind being beat up. Exchanged info needs to be accurate. I strive for that and hate to give bad advice.

I definitely stand corrected and apologize, if it is the case where these are replaced on the Supra's. Now I'll slink back and go see if it's the same for BMW's and no one's ever managed to catch it.

I did look up the installation instructions on these, page 2085 of the mega manual found elsewhere here. Shows them as, yes, bolts to replace. Mentions they are E18 for the socket, and I believe as found earlier they are M12. They go to 108Nm, or 80ftlbs. That's maybe not going to stretch them, depending on the grade, but that's a side discussion not worth getting into. Maybe the difference is Toyota says to replace, BMW does not. I've seen this elsewhere, for example the bolts for the strut braces, the driver's side which needs to be removed to get to the air filter. Anyhow.

On topic, I will concede that Toyota says to replace them and agree that you should follow that and that even if I've not seen it among BMW's it's not necessarily applicable here and so I do apologize again for that.

I mean, are we surprised that a group of narcissists that can't use a turn signal would be ignorant regarding the proper use & importance of TTY fasteners? ;)

But for real Greg, no need to apologize, and we're happy to have you here. What color combo is your Z4?

I use my turn signals, I swear it! LOL. Thanks, but I'm still embarrassed. I mostly snoop to get info that relates to the Z4 but occasionally know an answer to something, or at least think I do. Next time I pay for TIS access I'll have to have a look at the Z4 for this. I did find some PDF's of other Bimmers and no mention of 1 time use, but then again, that's unrelated, Toyota says do it.

Green with the tan interior. Classic combo even if it's a Jaguar ripoff. 6spd B58. That is my daughter's car seat, properly fastened and air bag off of course, and only in the neighborhoods no sliding around offramps. Gawd, does she love it.

My incoming supra is a 6MT with Cognac/Hazelnut interior, and either black or blue exterior. Literally what I'm going to do if I'm forced to take black, is an Aston Martin or Jaguar BRG wrap. The best color combo in history as far as I'm concerned.

Hey man,

Wondering if you have installed the Millway subframe bushings? Would be keen to hear your impression of it.

Cheers!
