As sad as it is, it's downright amazing to see how safe these cars are, as the passenger compartment is almost never compromised.

Plus, as a parts specialist, all I see are great sources of discounted used parts, especially things like seats & wheels..

How did you manage to get all of your mods paid for? Did you have extra insurance coverage?

Gonna get another supra to replace this one?

Sorry to hear it got totaled without you even doing anything.

My policy just covered mods. I didn't ask for anything extra. Also I had a 32 page document of all the work done with receipts and current market value. They had a special assessor go over everything. It took about 2 months to resolve. I never did any back and forth with them.

I think the only way I will come back to the Supra would be if there was GRMN version. I am waiting to see what the 2024 press release has in store. But I am not hopeful. There are no spyshots of anything. Even if they release it l, the car will probably have an updated Bosch ECU. I don't know.

I will move probably move on to the Gen 5 Viper. They are slowly coming back down in price (outside of the ACR) and the performance mods out there for this platform are pretty awesome. It also has MoTec's support. Seems like a fun platform to work on.

Gen 5 viper would be absolutely fantastic. Hopefully you pop in and tease us all with your 10 cylinders of bald eagle glory. Either that or your bad ass GRMN.

I'll gladly offer myself as forum tribute to ride along and provide detailed analysis for the other members.
