Just spoke to Barry at 3DM Motorsports about a set of Ohlins with Vorshlag camber plates. We discussed custom Swift 180mm main springs with helpers to adjust for the camber plates, some internal customizations (to maximize droop performance), and some future expandability and tunability. It was a great conversation.

Now to have a similar call with AR Motorsports on the MCS 1WNR they're offering.

Thanks Mark!

As goofy as it is, I just unlocked this track in Grand Tourismo 7. It should at least be accurate enough for me to learn the layout.

Not Goofy at all. I used GT to learn Laguna Seca, Willow Springs, and Nurburgring. I felt 95% comfortable on my very first laps and was attacking by the second. SIMS are SUPER useful. VR makes it even better.

Nice! That's encouraging to hear! I'm not a big gamer, but I do enjoy Grand Tourismo. I'll definitely spend some time learning the track.

I have a VR2 as well. I spent the money I had earmarked for a direct drive wheel/pedals/chair on seat time this summer though. ?

Same. I have the Fanetec DD (crammed into a dusty corner of the game/doggie room, at the moment). I was looking at a DOF setup, so I could actually feel what the car is doing, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the PS5. That's really the only thing missing. You will still learn the courses, though. That's the most important part. The game is really good at being correct with the nuances of each course. I.E. I knew I could go almost flat out around turn 6 and to be careful of the weirdness that is turn 9 at Laguna Seca. It's a huuuuuuge advantage.

Definitely helps to know the course! Ofc you’ll feel it in your ass and dead pedal way before the tires or steering wheel come to play. But it’ll definitely give you the idea fo sho! Still can‘t wait to try my PS5 VR. My house is full atm. Moved my mom in. But in due time indeed….

Scheduled two track weekends in September.
Road Atlanta 2 days and then the following weekend at Barber Motorsports for a weekend.

Gonna be a fun birthday ?
Atta boiiii!!!!! Go slow, build speed and listen to your instructor. You’re gonna have a blast ?

I've Got a good chunk of track days under my belt. I'm on the path to becoming an instructor.

Go slow isn't in my vocabulary.

GOTTA BLAST!
