I was told I could return a item by marshall who works for visconti. He should know the policy and straight up lied to me about a simple return. Then blames me for his lie. Crazy then when I posted it on a fb page they deleted many comments and kept only theirs. To try and justify a lie instead of taking care of a paying customer.

Dang. This is especially bad.

If you say you can do a return and then back pedal and say it can’t be done, just be aware and don’t offer it for future customers but make an exception for the one you just said you could do it for??

Like eat the small loss (if any) that’s like business 101 ? as a business owner myself none of that shit is set in stone.

Any shop that posts unprofessional comments looking for a fight on the forums probably has some issues. Just from their responses here I’d never do business with them. I’ve seen vendors defend themselves in a much better way and actually try to clarify what’s happening, not attack someone. Just shows me their style of business. The little passive aggressive jabs kill me ?

Maybe I’m missing something here but doesn’t it make sense that something like the dongle isn’t returnable? You use the dongle then return does the work for the next person? You use the dongle then return and essentially get it for free? Doesn’t make sense to me.

The issue people have is not that the dongle isn’t returnable but that the company said it could be returned and then back pedaled. Rather than creating an exception for this instance that was their fault they chose to go back on what they said. If he’d said it wasn’t returnable from the jump that’s a different story.

I never used it. I sent him a pic of mine before the new one showed up. It's reusable if it was used. Goes both ways too. How I know I'm not getting used? But why use it and send back? You will not be able to access tune or fun settings.

Agreed, and the reply from them on it was even worse. They blamed it on the customer for not asking about the return policy and said if they lost half their customers because of this they'd be ok since they are so busy and it'd be nice to not have to deal with the baby drama.

That's where they really lost me. A representative of your company said it was ok, your policy doesn't matter at that point. As a business, you should honor what your representatives say at a minimum. Second, to respond in such an unprofessional manner. It's not a good look.

Ah. I see what people think the issue is. Thanks for clarifying.

I’m going to play devils advocate here and get a lot of hate but it pretty clearly says on the website about returns for this kind of thing. I don’t know if this was added after the screen shot of the message or not. In the message to them if they specifically said returning the dongle or just asked about their return policy in general. I’m only reading what I see on here.

i could be wrong but from my perspective on the issue the screen shot messages asked about a return. The rep assumed general return and not the ecutek stuff. They didn’t look at the return policy on the website and is angry that they denied the return because assumptions were made. Once again this is from my perspective.

I’m not going to argue the point that some may have had bad experiences with Visconti, but I (and others) tried to go with another tuner who didn’t have any negative reviews out there, and a chargeback was the only resolution due to lack of communication. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/trouble-with-tuner.13704/

Some people have a poor experience at the apple store and still buy iPhones. Do your research, protect yourself, and vote with your dollar.

Visconti texted with me after hours on multiple days and sorted me all out after my poor experience with another tuner.

Hi

I actually rarely moderate the group. I’d appreciate you not spreading false acquisitions about us.

There are multiple admins. All are instructed to remove posts regarding non authorized vendors of the group. So other admins and vendors remove posts.

It’s not our group. We don’t pay to be an admin. We pay to be an advertising vendor. Another false claim, is it also isn’t $5000.

If you want to market another company, that’s fine, try doing so without spreading lies about others.
stfu. You banned me and deleted all my posts about a US based DME unlock project. ?

Not a Corvette.
Marshall has lied through his teeth for years now. Nothing new.

So happy to see actual competition coming out. Maybe they will move on to their next car group for some fresh meat. Rinse and repeat for years now.

Problem with this was that it wasn't off their site and all communications was off Facebook messenger. Never went on their site.

Hi there, again.

As mentioned on facebook, you asked about the return AFTER you purchased your bluetooth module and AFTER it was shipped. This means if the item was returnable or not, had zero influence on you purchasing it. You "found" the one that came with your used car you purchased after it was already on the way to you.

You then asked if you could return it. I did say yes. I was incorrect. But the return policy has always been available on our website. As I told you before, If I told you it was returnable before you purchased and you were stuck with it due to my my incorrect information, I wouldve taken it back myself even though John wouldnt, and refunded you out of my pocket as itd be my fault. But you purchased it beforehand.

Please dont crop photos and make the story one sided.

You mean a non-vendor, broke a rule and was banned because of doing so? Wow. Crazy. If you were a vendor, you could promote whatever youd like. But you arent. If any of the other vendors (as there are multiple other companies) - Want to do so, theyre more than welcome. I dont make the rules, Im just one of many that assist on enforcing them.

Marshall has lied through his teeth for years now. Nothing new.

I have zero idea who you are. Do you mind sharing your name?

Appreciated sir. There will always be haters man. I can guarantee I communicate with with more customers after hours, daily, than any other "supra specialty" shop does during their business hours. Lol. Me and John are a 2 man show and break our backs to go above and beyond. Most of the haters get upset we're moderators of a facebook group and is where 90% of the drama comes from (such as this) - When they dont realize, its not even more or John the majority of the time. Its other admins as well. Theyre simply enforcing the rules as I do. We arent the group owners. We dont make the rules and multiple other companies have the same authority as us.

lmfao what are you smoking dude? You literally deleted every comment on the post the other night about you lying to a customer about a return policy. Every day I see comments get deleted because they don’t support Visconti or brings up another company doing the same stuff but cheaper.
So that means you're aware that the post was left up? Comments from people who have never had interactions or an experience with us were deleted. Not the thread or anything from the OP. Not going to have remarks from anyone who just doesnt like us in general there. If they were a previous / existing customer or had some type of interaction with us, it stayed. Because if they didnt, that means theyre generating an opinion for no reason as they simply dislike us for whatever reason they may have.

i was thinking of visconti for service...not anymore!!!
All good man. Best of luck to you.
But hey, somehow this thread has given them 3 more sales?. As believable as everything else they say.
Yes sir. Very much appreciated.
