I’m trying to get a stock baseline to measure gains from upcoming mods, and I was a bit surprised by my recent dragy results.

I don’t believe I’ve seen any “stock” (not stock hardware with a tune…) 60-130 times for a 2020 Supra (so, 2-port).

First two attempts, I was in the 15s with a passenger. Second two attempts - low 14s with no passenger.

I’m way more familiar with 1/4 mile analysis, so 60-130 is new to me. I’m trying to get an idea as to whether my car is performing as expected stock and what kind of improvements to expect with mods (i.e. does X improvement in power to weight result in Y seconds improvement in 60-130?).

My 1/4 mile checks out (in my opinion) given this was my second launch attempt ever, I’m on 295 Michelin super sports, and I was on the street (so unprepped). I imagine a .2-.3 improvement in 60ft time equates to a 12.1-ish 1/4 mile which is what I’d expect.

This gives me confidence that the 60-130 should be sound given that I actually did a 0-130 run, but 14s just didn’t look right to me after seeing so many modded Supra times so much lower.

I’m open to all feedback aroundthis to better understand our stock 60-130 times and what to expect with mods.

(added other dragy slips if anyone wants more references to stock)

Side note - goal is to get the lowest 60-130 I can on stock tranny (e50 OK, stock turbo preferred).

Looks about right slap a jb4 on it and reduce your times dramatically. shoot me a pm if you have any questions or want to go over your goals.

60-130 is a common Mexico race.
The roads I've been on in Mexico made Detroit crater infested roads .. nice.

Your quarter mile times seem low...I would expect 113-114.

95% percent of my encounters are rolling starting from anywhere between 10-70mph.

I love the 1/4 mile benchmark as much as the next person, but 1) I don’t see myself at the track as often as before, and 2) the roll racing range saves my axles (or so I read).

Thanks. My road was a little bumpy/bouncy (a bridge, so each section didn’t line up perfect to the next) which may have cost me some mph.

I appreciate your input! I’m leaning towards Ecutek, but I’m a big fan of the JB4, for the record. I’ve surprised many in my JB4 GTI, so I know I good custom map can definitely deliver.

My preferred Mexico race is 60-130 keeps the top end safe, doesn’t take long to race / slow down, and you won’t have crazy spin when you launch. All around good race speeds

Just following up on this. Tried on a new, smooth road. Conditions seemed good. I tried launching in second, traction off, etc. etc. (auto shifting for what it’s worth) and my runs are remarkably consistent.

Didn’t hit the 113mph trap as reported above (very consistent 110s), but I feel pretty good about having a consistent baseline to use to measure my gains after tuning (catted downpipe here and Ecutek with stage 2 OTS on the way).
