Anyone in here utilizing a Sodium battery on their Supra? Im debating between this or Li.

I'm watching it. Ohmmu makes a direct size that should fit H8/Group 49.

I'm just not sure on the coding bits.

Bought a lifepo4 group 49 battery, with discounts for it for under $400, it’s worked great so far.

Doing some googling, it looks like sodium batteries exhibit large voltage drift. I'm guessing this would confuse the heck out of the BMW battery monitoring logic. I would personally stay away on this car, but it's probably fine on systems with "dumb" alternators

The listing for the Ohmmu group 39 battery says it's compatible with the Ineos Grenadier, which uses the B58.

I think I'll bite and report back.
