It's the battery. Every time someone posts about a weird electrical issue, it's low battery. The people who argue that it's not the battery because they totally charged it bro I swear later discover it's low battery. When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie it's a low battery.
FWIW, I've had a ton of weird electrical issues, and never once has it been the battery. But ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

update: the car completely stopped starting and would not even let me depress the brake petal. after 30 minutes it finally started and I took immediately to the dealer. the second technician to look at my car said that it may be the break sensor not triggering the start but wasn’t sure until getting a closer look. they kept it for a day and was able to generate some error codes with the starter system shorting out. they replaced the starter assembly and the car has been perfect since. sucks that a 21ā€ with 28,000 miles needed a starter replaced so soon. glad it’s resolved though!
man i have the same exact experience. already replaced the battery so it's not that. *sigh* looks like it's my starter...

yup if you were having similar issues to mine then it’ll be replacing the starter assembly that fixes it. Haven’t had any issues like that since. I didn’t have to pay for the replacement at the toyota dealer.

I have a similar issue. I’ve checked for parasitic drain and that’s not the issue. If I put my car in diag mode to load a map I get low battery warning and it will eventually cut out of diag mode. If I don’t drive the car for a couple days it will attempt to start on the first press, but then start right up on the second press.
