AFE touts 51% increase in air flow. What is a better flowing Aftermarket air filter That fits in the stock air box?
Surprised they don't have one out yet.For ease of service, a drop-in is probably not a bad idea. Otherwise, no real performance gains, as others have said. I'll probably go with a Green filter, when the time comes.
im not really looking for gains vs just the re-useable aspects of it....yep, chasing 1 hp gains. go for it
Unit 7371 is supposed to fit the Supra.Surprised they don't have one out yet.
Cool, thanks. Will check into it.Unit 7371 is supposed to fit the Supra.
Have you noticed any drop in low end torque / throttle response? There are some BMW owners who have noticed that they have lost some power down low, but gained a little up top.Another K&N filter here. Easy drop-in filter. You can hear the induction sound a little better with it installed. For the price/performance I'm happy with it.
I've run the stock, K&N, and aFe filters (and have an HKS I need to install) and I haven't noticed any loss of power down low or gains up top. I have noticed a bit more induction noise when stomping the gas low in the rev range in a high gear.Have you noticed any drop in low end torque / throttle response?
