Not a Corvette.
Are E50 stock turbo maps running decent IAT's / avoiding IAT-related timing/power loss without a better manifold in warmer weather? Hoping for right at 500 WHP on E50 but the florida heat and humidity is brutal for 3/4ths of the year and seem to bog down my JB4 E40 map on longer pulls. Just depends on if I go manifold before custom tune or get the tune sooner and worry about a manifold later.
No, and as usual, anyone saying otherwise is lying.

E50, stock turbo, 19.8psi flat.

Yeah that's kind of what I figured, I'll most likely be going with a Wagner manifold sometime before the next summer then before looking at any custom MHD tuning. Thank you and good to see you around man!

Stock manifold is fine for stock turbo in my experience. 600whp+ I highly recommend it. Or any track use, would recommend it for stock turbo as well.

I tune so that as IATs climb, timing (and therefore torque) will decrease a bit for safety. <120 IAT should be close to full power.

It is normal to lose some power in hot weather when you are pushing the stock turbo 90%+, less oxygen in the air and no more headroom for the turbo to push harder.
