I got HKS x TRS strap tow and I’m trying to find a way to install it. Currently i’m using Cusco tow front & rear and it works perfectly but I would like to change it to strap. From what I’ve read that oem tow mounting hole diameter is 20mm and the HKS strap tow is 13mm. The HKS strap tow already comes with a 13mm nut. But the question now, how I can install it if the oem hole diameter is 20mm? and what options I have?
here is some information about the strap and photos of how it should be looked.

I don't think the HKS strap was intended for being mounted directly to the tow hook threads on the car. In the pictures it looks like there is some sort of stand-off to provide spacing

I don't have one but just reading this post, you could probably remove the red Cusco tow hook clevis from the threaded bolt and see what the internal threads are for getting a new bolt to thread in while attaching the hole of the tow strap. Not sure if the HKS 13mm hole will fit said bolt but you could always drill/bore it out to fit whatever size bolt is needed?

I have a solution in my mind but I would rather keep it as a last option which is buying perrin tow front & rear. Because as you can see I’m pretty sure I can use their bolts

but If I come to cusco tows which I have them on my car, I don’t think I can remove the bolt it self because it comes in different way comparing it to perrin tows.
Here is cusco

I would pass on the Perrin one. The shaft is aluminum and doubt it will stay together if you actually have to get towed.

I went through this on my car and was very disappointed. All market options for a strap that would bolt on the existing tow hole on the chassis are aluminum and will break.

The only reasonable strap is the raceseng one and is discontinued, so not easy to find.

I also tried rigging the mounting area with a steel bolt but is impossible as the hole can’t really be accessed to use a 3rd party strap.

I’m back to square 1, probably going for the raceseng strap if I can find it or Raceseng rings.
