Stud length

Looking to convert to studs but not 100% on length. No plans on running spacers. With that anyone running around 65mm or will they be to short?

mine was 75mm.

I went with 65mm. I'm running stock wheels with no plans on changing them and they're great. Done an autocross day and HDPE with no issue. Swapped between another spare set of stocks a couple times here or there as well.

65mm should work just fine for you. I did the stud conversion along with 14x1.25 to 14x1.5 78mm from Speed Industry as I just have a thing for long studs (I tried so many different ways to say that lol) to me a big fat meaty tire and wheel combo with long studs just look right.

I am considering the same studs from Speed Industry. Do you have a picture of them on your car? Curious how far they stick out.

65mm should work just fine for you. I did the stud conversion along with 14x1.25 to 14x1.5 78mm from Speed Industry as I just have a thing for long studs (I tried so many different ways to say that lol) to me a big fat meaty tire and wheel combo with long studs just look right.

I went with the 78mm kit as well from motorsports hardware. Personally I like having longer studs as that means you can thread them on without worrying about scratching your wheels if you miss the stud a bit. Also gives more flexibility, it also ensures you get enough threads engaged, just make sure you get open studs.

I’m running 65mm studs, and can fit up to a a 20mm spacer. I have 13mm spacers up front and 15mm in the rear. Lowered on eibach pro kit

I just went out and took these, front and rear. Just the generic lugnuts they they sell also, I haven’t decided if I’m going to pony up for the raceseng titanium ones, or any other set just yet.

Dumb question I’m sure, but do you remove the brake disc and install the studs into the hub, or do you put the studs in with the disc still attached? I saw ThicWhips install with the disc on, but the Future Classics page shows the disc removed first (it was on a BMW though)…

Studs just thread into the disk. Use some lock tight.
