Everyone complains about how ugly the steering wheel is, but no one hates these Pep boy special subwoofer grillz from the 90s?

I want to see what you have done about these grillz. Please post pictures and details about how you did away with them.

My only gripe with the steering wheel is I can’t hold it from 6 o clock

I think if everything was fine in his eyes he wouldn’t have made the thread. I’m sure he appreciates the useless comment though
Just ignore the guy. He’s goofy. Thinks his GF is fine…she’s his mom.

I’ve yet to see anyone change or modify them. Mine are under the courtesy cover and out of sight.

I would be more worried about traction when slamming the skinny pedal.

I only see them when I open the hatch, and then forget about them until the next time it opens.

Yeah mine are covered by a custom leather divider so I don't see them.

Nice. I just noticed the other day that although there is a cargo cover in the hatch for privacy, anyone can see into the trunk area to see what you’re carrying by looking in from the front of the car. Your leather cover is a good solution to this problem.

Well at least I gave an opinion. Your comment is an opinion of an opinion. Good work.

Just ignore the guy. He’s goofy. Thinks his GF is fine…she’s his mom.
Nice.

If you hadn't mentioned them, I'd forgotten they existed
Not something I had ever paid attention to
The stock steering wheel is bad though
But I used to girthy wheels from BMWs

OP has a point about the sub grilles. However I look at it more from a usability standpoint rather than looks. I think if the grilles were flush it would make that hump behind the seats much more usable. Now if you have a box or something on there it teeters back and forth in the domed grilles.
