Him and his stupid videos. I stopped watching it when he said it’s okay to be in debit for 2 expensive cars while renting a $50k shack. And being a role model for younger kids and setting them for failure. :(

For once I agree with DannyV. He is just guessing.
His comments about living with bare essentials and stuff is stupid. Driving two expensive cars while having to cut back everywhere else is not living life.

Anyone going through buyer's remorse/regrets with the '20 Supra? For me, I shouldn't have paid $5K over MSRP for the Launch Edition. I thought the deal was pretty good because every dealers I called wanted at least $10K over, some even $20K over MSRP when the LE first came out. One Youtuber spent $30K over asking price. Looking back now, the whole Launch Edition is overhyped. I do enjoy the car, however. So do any of you Supra owners have any regrets for owning this car?

Sorry to hear man. I had found a new red LE the other day for $4500 under msrp. Looks like there is still around 75 new LE's available.

I think the "I'm First" clout type youtubers, really caused the over hype that occurred. They don't mind paying $10k over because they will make money off their "I'm First" type video views. They will just dump the car off while value is high, and then move on to the next one.

I kind of blame those youtubers for the poor Supra sells. Them paying those kinds of markups, really fed the dealership ego's. These dealerships were asking markups, asking msrp, not allowing test drives, treating protentional customers bad, etc. These dealerships acted like the Honda dealerships when the Type R was released.

no remorse, but I bought mine this week so I got it well under MSRP. 2021 has a better engine and revised suspension sure, but I think the car handles great and I'm going to take care of the power discrepancy with some light mods so I'm happy with the cheaper car

May I ask what was your final price. Did you get it new?

No bc it’s like me buying the PS3 when it first came out, super expensive. If you wanna be one of the first people to get it, your going to pay more. No point to dwell on something you can’t change bc it’s in the past. You got a badass car that you can enjoy.

Not to be a dick here, but take the positives from this, as the negatives will eat you up. You learned to avoid overpaying. The market is not always right, bubbles exist and they always pop. It may take work to get the price you are looking for, but patience and perseverance can remove a lot of premiums. Also, you were in a position financially to afford it (hopefully), many are not and never will be. Hell, many don’t have jobs at all right now. Again, not trying to belittle your loss or the feeling being taken advantage of, but if you focus on trained salesman who take lunch money for a living, you aren’t going to find piece of mind.

I hope you lose the regrets as it’s a fun car to drive without them.

Man, I’m sorry that you’re feeling this way. As others have said, enjoy the car now because you have it and consider it a lesson learned for future purchases.

I’ve seen this happen more times than I can count and personally would never pay over MSRP for a car, in fact the only time I paid MSRP was when I special ordered a car that I knew no one else would want.

Stop looking back and look forward to having fun with the car.

Can't really feel sorry for you. It's what comes with being the first adopter of a new product. Especially a car that's a depreciating asset, and the "special edition" not being all that special. I was ready and prepared to take possession right when it got off the truck. No regrets, cant regret really. If I wanted to save money would have waited a year.

No remorse whatsoever on my LE. Was bummed out that I could not get mine on July 22 when it was supposed to be at the dealer. Had to poke corporate to get a different LE in late September. My original LE was not released from hold till January 2020 - ouch.
