Hello,
I'm currently running a catless downpipe, intake, and a snow meth kit (100%).
My current tune is a OTS stage 2 BM3 map and made around 485whp/530wtq.
Considering now to maybe use 50-50 meth/water?
Also, I'm not tuned for meth. Would you recommend a custom tune to run methanol or is it fine to just use it on my current OTS map?

50/50 is fine to use on pretty much any setup, even stock, especially with a small jet. If you're using M1/pure meth, you're going to want the tune to know about it.

can you elaborate more? to know about it? so not adviced to run 100% methanol with no specific tuning?

It means you should be tuned for the meth if it’s m1. That’s because the engine should know about the octane. However if you are looking for mainly cooling then run wm50

So my question is.. is it fine to run 100 percent methanol without a tune? I know gains wont be there but any harm?

What the above people are saying is 100% meth without a tune is bad. 50% meth mixed with 50% water such as boost juice, is fine without a tune.

100% meth will raise your octane levels. A 50/50 mixture is used just for a cooling purpose, Lowering you intake air temps. But regardless it's always safer to be able to data log even with 50/50 mixture and tune if as necessary. I hope this makes more sense.
