I've looked at them and honestly still prefer the factory position with a smaller bracket and slim line plate. Everything else looks like a compromise, like it's in the wrong place. The other brackets look good when you remove the plate but I'm not going to be bothered most likely. The town I live in seems to be built for 4wds so the nose/front lip will scrape. Having some metal below that will just make it scrape worse

How do the resonated pipes compare? What changes with the sound? I've listened to some videos but that's only part of the picture

While it's difficult for me to be impartial, I honestly think AWE makes simply the best sounding (and suitably loud) exhausts for our cars. The non-resonated pipes I'm selling were perfect with the stock down-pipe.. So much so that when I had a catted down pipe installed, it got a bit too obnoxious for my liking. With the sporstcat the exhaust was much louder in all conditions and was quite raspy like pretty much every other after market Supra exhaust.

AWE recommends using resonated pipes for aftermarket down pipes and they're 100% right. Once the resonated pipes were installed, the exhaust returned to its deep growl, despite the extra flow from the aftermarket DP.

Essentially, the non-resonated touring+stock DP sounds exactly like the resonated touring exhaust coupled with a sportscat DP. If anything, the resonated pipes+sportscat DP may even be a touch quieter on the freeway as a bonus.

No drone. No rasp. Deep and growly when you give it the beans. Plenty of burbles on lift off and the occassional pop.

Man, does everyone have experiences with Toyota like mine?
Was supposed to be delivered to the dealership last Wednesday. I call them up for finance reasons and they say oh, it's still on the boat, it'll come off on the 25th. I hardly even know if this car is real.

Then finance....
They wouldn't add PPF to the finance amount, so I went to Westpac which made me look closer at the finance contract I almost signed with Toyota. Over $1000 extra in their rubbish fees, just added on just because.

Then after the salesman was saying he would take care of me and include window tinting, on the invoice - $800 for tinting, not even the ceramic stuff.

So now I wait more.

Funny post. The delivery isn't as simple as buying a new TV, what were you expecting. You'll have another few weeks to wait after it gets off the boat most likely while they wait for BMW in Germany to send the Navigation software.
The salesman says one thing and does another, I'm shocked.
Fees are added "just because", Double shocked, lol.
You didn't read the finance fine print, really?
So now you wait, yep.

Generally, yes. And just wait till you take it in for service or heaven forbid, warranty work.

In fairness, my salesguy was actually pretty good but generally speaking, you should never ever believe a salesperson. Ever.

Beyond this, Toyota dealerships have literally no idea how to deal with our cars. From shipping through to which oil it needs, the Supra is a complete mystery to Toyota dealerships and more likely, just a giant pain in their ass.

I shudder to think how much "support" Toyota will provide the MKV once it is discontinued, consdiering their ability to support it now is laughable at best.

I'm actually least worried about the service because the only technician who can service them locally is a patient of mine and hes practices on a couple before mine. But the experience may be different, who knows.

At the moment I'm just trying to get my mkiv ready for Rockynats and there's a bucket load to do yet

Once you get your hands on her, grab them keys and never ever look back…. Find a good independent BMW mechanic and you’ll end up loving this car. The maintenance is not expensive if using a real mechanic and other odds & ends that may come up. Repeat: stay away from the dealer after taking possession

Yes but when did you buy them? Post covid things changed. I've bought 3 new cars in the last 22 months and waited 5 months for the Kia, 6 months for the Mazda and 13 months to the day for the Supra which was delivered 1 year and 5 days ago.
Don't know what waiting times are currently for the average car, it may be less now.
Unless you've waited longer than 13 months for your Supra I have no sympathy

Is there anyone here from Australia with either an A91 or hazlenut interior that can help and/or provide some feedback? I'd like to see if you are able to identify the part number on your RHD hazlenut door interior trim panel when you provide your VIN to your local Toyota parts store in order to confirm the driver side part number.

I started some search into this, however, my search didn't go rather far as I was only able to find a few part numbers.

I found 67610-WAA03 is right side black... but I can't figure what it is for Cognac/Hazlenut right side.

Unless I missed it completely, the details on these color door trims aren't easy to identify unless confirmed.

Any input would help...

If you just want to confirm a part number, maybe just pick an Australian dealer and give them a call - Just be aware of the time difference! As for a physical identification, I don't have the cognac interior.. but even as accommodating as I am, I'd be pretty unwilling to pull my door trim off just to identify the part for you, sorry. ?

Yeah cool. I don't think owning the seats would make much difference - Our dealers tend to be pretty clueless but best of luck in your search!
