Thinking about tracking?

I've somehow came into another GR nasa day to use...Looking at tracks further away. Does anyone in here have theirs scheduled in the AZ/North East area that may convince me to trailer out? Im always down to meet new people.

Just got off the waitlist for VIR next weekend, looking forward to it.

I cancelled my VIR event. I would have to drive 8hrs friday. Do track day saturday. Then drive 8hrs back after because of another track day in Atlanta on Sunday.

Anybody know who to contact about the July NASA track day at Barber Motorsports Park? I'm signed up and have most everything I need. I just want to see if there is anything they can tell me about how the event will run, will they have helmets to rent (mine autoX is an old 2010 Snell).

I drove it a few years ago when when Mazda did a Miata Reunion there. I got 5 sessions of 20 minutes and it was great. I raced SCCA Regionals & Nationals for 15+ years, but that was from 1979 thru 1995. Since then it's been autoX and just a few track days.

Hey pal! Jim VanderVilet (spelling?) runs our region. Great guy. Send him an email and he’ll get back with ya. It’s on the NASA site and signup page. Also, the wife & I have a ton of helmets. Your noggin can’t be much bigger than mine (& surly no smaller than hers) & they are all Snell 2015 or 2020. You’re welcome to them amigo (head sock required lol). I’m off Tue & Wed.
