11,800 LHD MKIVs existed in the USDM market, but 31,700 RHD were produced for rest of world. There was another 1,700 LHD for Europe as well. The Mkiv was produced to 1993-2001 everywhere else but America (1993.5-1998)Did Toyota sell twice as many MK5 vs MK4? Also the MK5 had a longer run too.
Out of those ~12k MKIV in the USA, ~7500 were Twin Turbo (4500 6spd, 3000 auto)
For USA, 2k of the ~12k were hardtops, 10k were targa sport roof, but the opposite for RHD. 29k were hardtops and 2k were sport roofs
So Toyota sold 30k MKVs to the 45k MkIVs worldwide. But in the USA it’s like 28k MKVs to 12k MKIVs
However I personally speculate in the USA it’s almost exactly identical for manuals. 4500 to 4500. Based on 40% take rate for MT from 23-26 production numbers
