I know we can track the Supra via the app, but is that classed as a tracker for insurance purposes? I'm not sure whether to tick that it has on my renewal?

My insurance required a tracker and the factory one doesn’t count. I assume because it can just be turned off and doesn’t integrate with Police etc.

Had to be S5 approved so I would say don’t say it has one on the renewal.

Definitely doesn't count as a tracker for insurance purposes.

Thanks fellas, funnily enough it didn't make any difference to the quote by taking it off.

Ending up going with Toyota's own insurance for £460.

My quote went up from £350 last year to £550 this year, and quotes on comparison sites were even higher.

No idea why. no points or claims, full no claims discount and another year older.

Just a heads up that there were some pretty awful reviews out there on Toyota Insurance as I was considering them when I bought my car.

No tracker on mine, with Direct line and I'm currently paying
£512 for my Yaris GR (7 years NC)
£553 for my Supra (9+ years NC)
