after flash, I've noticed driving the car in normal drive mode & automatic shift mode, the transmission shifts way too quickly.. I will be in 8th gear by 45-50MPH.. what causes this exactly

That is normal. My car does that all the time.

My '22 shifts to 7th by the time I hit 53kph, I would definitely expect the car to shift into 8th by the time it's nearing 80-90kph
