Getting around to some more transmission testing last night. We are now sending over 900nm of torque to the TCM. Still a little less than the real torque we are making on our car. But the trans is definitely liking seeing the right amount of torque on the software side.

Car is more snappy and less lazy under full load. Shifts better than we had it shifting in prior video shares. Weve done pulls 1st through 7th gear and touched 8th a few times. Of course this is all done on a track or mexico.

And yes, the trans tune is still completely stock and untouched.

Wow, does that mean you have to fake out the TCU to think that it's not getting the huge torque it's actually getting by scaling down the reported number or something?

It will auto limit the tq when it detects too much slip/heat if the temps rise too high. It's basically limp mode for the trans when it reaches its limit. Yes it can be tuned but it's best to be careful with these ZF's. Better to keep it alive than to break an input or output shaft trying to max out the power down low.

Hahahaha great vids

thank you

o

Love it lol, btw any update on when the next batch of wind diffusers will be mailed out? thanks

I am trying to get them out. There are Approximately 6 owners waiting on the gloss black diffusers and 1 or 2 waiting on the matte. This whole coronavirus thing is screwing with production. That and i basically all but shut down for a week when i lost my brother last week. Rest assured, anyone who have pending orders they will ship with the same tracking that was sent out. I truly apologize for the delay.

Congratulations on the new power figures.

The bar has been raised.
