It seems like most of the people that would be interested in this have either been prototyping, or otherwise been in the development loop. positive feedback from some recognizable names already.
I was surprised that it would bring down both water and oil temperatures compared to the factory oil-to-water setup. My only explanation is at by the time the coolant goes past the main rad into aux HX, it's already close to ambient. So this would have a higher temperature differential which outweighs the reduced heat capacity of oil. thus, there's more total heat rejection flux out of the block
